Recreation fees waived on Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest

(EVERETT)- The U.S. Forest Service, in honor of America’s Presidents, is giving visitors to the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest a Presidents’ Day gift this weekend: free fun.  Fees will be waived at more than 74 day-use sites on the forest Feb. 15-17.  You will still need a SnoPark permit for any SnoPark locations.  Federal agencies are authorized to charge amenity fees at recreation sites to help maintain those sites.
