(SEDRO-WOOLLEY)- The North Cascades National Park Service Complex has been holding a series of open houses regarding the recent release of the Ross Lake National Recreation Area Draft General Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement.
Officials say the purpose of the plan is to outline management strategies for resource protection and preservation, education and interpretation, visitor use and facilities, land protection and boundaries, and long-term operations and management of Ross Lake National Recreation Area.
The last meeting will be held tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 o’clock at the Bellingham Senior Center at 315 Halleck Street in Bellingham.
