(WASHINGTON)— Rep. Rick Larsen will highlight the impacts of sequestration and food aid cuts during a two-day tour of Northwest Washington. Larsen will visit senior centers and food banks, and will host a public community meeting in Burlington. Larsen will meet with anti-hunger advocates in Skagit County to discuss impacts of sequestration and food aid cuts Tuesday, September 24, from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at the Skagit Community Action Agency Community Meeting Room 330 Pacific Place Mount Vernon. Larsen will then visit businesses in Burlington with the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and city officials to learn more about how the local economy is doing from 3 – 4:15 p.m. at the Burlington Visitor Center at 520 E. Fairhaven Avenue.
