(DARRINGTON)- Some of the world’s best archers are competing in Darrington this week at the National Field Archery Assn’s Outdoor National Championships.

The tournament has attracted about 300 archers from around the world.

The public is welcome to attend the Pro-Am competition on Friday evening.

The professionals plan take to the field at 6 p.m.  The event is free.

The Darrington archery range is located at 312 Sauk Avenue.  Turn south from Highway 530 at the Darrington fire station and keep going.
