(MOUNT VERNON)— The Skagit County Commissioners will be holding a public meeting on the proposed Skagit County Jail facility tonight at 7 o’clock in the Commissioners Hearing Room at 1800 Continental Place in Mount Vernon.
A presentation on the proposed facility will take place and there will be an opportunity to take comments from the public after a presentation is heard on financing options available for the construction and operational costs of the proposed jail.
Officials say the presentation will cover information on funding source options including Sales and Use Taxes and Property Taxes.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 7 o’clock in the Commissioners Hearing Room at 1800 Continental Place in Mount Vernon.
