(CHUCKANUT DRIVE)—The Washington State Patrol says Chuckanut Drive between Bow Hill Road and Legg Road was down to one lane for over two hours yesterday after a downed power pole partially blocked one lane of the roadway.

Troopers say the pole was blown over by high winds just before 11 am yesterday morning and partially blocked one lane.

A new pole was put in place and the lane was re-opened to traffic at about 1:45 p.m. yesterday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the Skagit County Public Works Department closed part of Garden of Eden Road near Sedro-Woolley yesterday afternoon for a while yesterday due to downed power lines.  It’s open again.
