Public hearing has been canceled
(Anacortes)- The Washington State Parks canceled a public hearing to discuss transfer of Huckleberry Island to the Samish Indian Nation. Huckleberry Island, ten-acres near Guemes Island, is among properties the commission feels should not be retained as part of the State Parks System. The meeting was canceled because the commission has “things it needs to work through,” and it was premature to schedule a comment period. Bookmark to:
